The bill saw the support of 289 lawmakers, with the required minimum of 226 votes.

At a meeting on November 26, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft State Budget 2021. The draft provides for a deficit at 5.5% of gross domestic product, revenues in the amount of UAH 1.092 trillion, and expenses at UAH 1.328 trillion.
At the same time, the Ministry of Finance said negotiations with the International Monetary Fund had been successfully completed on the main parameters of the draft, which was one of the main prerequisites for the start of the first review of the stand-by arrangement.
On November 28, head of the ruling Servant of the People parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia, said the Verkhovna Rada would adopt the state budget of Ukraine before year-end.
