The reason for the price hike is the sharp rise in prices of relevant components, the Ukrainian TSN TV news service said on November 9.
In particular, prices of flour, butter, and sugar rose by 10-20% in October alone, having grown by 30-50% since the beginning of the year.

As was earlier reported, sales of Swiss chocolate dropped by 14.3% in the first eight months of 2020 over the coronavirus pandemic.
