Economy slid 0.7% against the previous quarter.
Ukraine's real gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2020 decreased by 1.3% year-on-year, the State Statistics Service reports.
Compared with the previous quarter (Q4 2019), taking into account the seasonal factor, economic growth decreased by 0.7%.
Nominal GDP amounted to UAH 845.8 billion, and GDP per capita stood at UAH 20,203.

As UNIAN reported earlier, real GDP growth in Ukraine in 2019 slowed down to 3.2% from 3.4% in 2018, which had been the highest pace over the past seven years.
The World Bank expects that in 2020 Ukraine's economy will shrink by 3.5%, while global economy will fall by 5.2%.
