The foreign ministers shared practices on countering the spread of COVID-19 and overcoming the consequences of the pandemic.
Ukraine and Greece are ready to resume travel between the two countries from July 1, provided a stable epidemiological situation.
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held a phone conversation with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias, MFA Ukraine's press service has told UNIAN.
In particular, Kuleba and Dendias expressed their readiness to resume travel between Ukraine and Greece from July 1, subject to a stable epidemic situation in both countries.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries also exchanged experiences on countering the spread of COVID-19 and overcoming the consequences of the pandemic.
In turn, Dendias invited Kuleba to pay a working visit to Greece, whenever the situation allows. Ukraine's top diplomat has accepted the invitation.
The parties noted the importance of the comprehensive development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations for the development of trade and investment, as well as cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian and educational fields.

At the same time, Kuleba congratulated his colleague on the Greek Chairmanship at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and urged him to bring to the top agenda priority Ukrainian issues.
In response, Dendias assured that Greece has always supported Ukraine's European integration aspirations.
The Foreign Ministry also reported that in 2019 the volume of trade between Ukraine and the Hellenic Republic amounted to $586 million (+10%).
