The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is in dialogue with one of the world's largest payment systems, PayPal, on the prospects of its entry into the Ukrainian market.
"The digitalization ministry has already resumed dialogue with PayPal. In January this year, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky turned to the president of the company with a proposal to work in Ukraine and heard an answer that such an opportunity was being considered. The dialogue with PayPal is underway and we will further inform you about the results," the ministry's press service reported on Facebook.

The possible entry of Stripe and Vapulus payment systems is also being considered.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in September last year, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that the ministry intended to bring PayPal to Ukraine and determine the legal status of cryptocurrencies.
