All efforts of the Ukrainian government are aimed at returning Ukrainians who got stuck in other countries.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said Ukraine will not allow its citizens to cross out to work abroad amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Of course, I am aware of this issue. Indeed, there is an appeal [from Ukraine's international partners], but the Ukrainian government is guided primarily by considerations of safety and health of our citizens. Amid a pandemic, any trip means potential exposure to e the disease, especially when it's by plane," he said at an online briefing, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
According to Kuleba, today all efforts of the Ukrainian government are aimed at returning Ukrainians who got stuck in other countries.
"It now seems illogical to organize mass charters to bring Ukrainians to countries where the pandemic is still present with varying degrees of intensity," he said.

At the same time, Kuleba said the Ukrainian government retained a constructive stance.
"We understand the demand our partners have in labor force and we'll be ready to reconsider our position in the context of coronavirus developments. We are guided by the main principle – this is health and safety of our citizens," he added.
