Ukraine's Boryspil Airport among Eastern Europe's TOP 5 airports

The airport is fourth in Skytrax ranking.

Ukraine's largest Boryspil International Airport is among Eastern Europe's TOP5 airports in 2020, according to the 2020 World Airport Awards ranking compiled by United Kingdom-based consultancy Skytrax.

The Ukrainian airport took fourth position, following those in Budapest, Bucharest, and Tallinn. TOP10 also includes airports in Riga, Belgrade, Bratislava, Tbilisi, Skopje, and Sofia, the Avianews portal said on May 11.

Singapore Changi Airport has topped the 2020 ranking of world's TOP100 Airports for the eighth consecutive year. Then come Tokyo Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Hamad International Airport in Doha, Incheon International Airport in Seoul, and the Munich Airport.

Over 100 customer nationalities participated in the 2019-2020 survey. Skytrax regarded airports as a quality benchmark for the world airport industry, assessing customer service and facilities across over 550 airports. The survey was conducted from September 2019 to February 2020. The survey and awards process fully funded by Skytrax.

As UNIAN reported earlier, all airports had been shut down in Ukraine except for Boryspil International Airport over the nationwide coronavirus quarantine.
