Ukraine's hryvnia continues strengthening, set at UAH 26.67 to U.S. dollar on July 1

The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 29.87 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on June 30 set the official forex rate for July 1 at UAH 26.67 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by two kopiykas.

The hryvnia has seen gains in value against the U.S. dollar for the second consecutive day, according to the NBU website.

The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 29.87 per euro – the hryvnia gained eight kopiykas in value since Tuesday.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 1:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,666.76 (UAH 2,669.22 as of June 30);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 2,986.77 (UAH 2,995.00 as of June 30).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on June 30, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.69/26.71 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 29.92/29.94.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Tuesday, June 30, at UAH 26.69 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by one kopiyka after a two-day fall.
