Ukraine's hryvnia continues strengthening, set at UAH 26.93 to U.S. dollar on July 8

The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 30.41 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 7 set the official forex rate for July 8 at UAH 26.93 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 20 kopiykas.

The hryvnia has seen gains in value against the U.S. dollar for the third consecutive day, according to the NBU website.

The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 30.41 per euro – the hryvnia gained 31 kopiykas in value since Tuesday, according to the NBU website.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 8:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,693.09 (UAH 2,712.69 as of July 7);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,040.90 (UAH 3,072.26 as of July 7).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on July 7, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.91/26.94 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 30.40/30.43.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Tuesday, July 7, at UAH 27.13 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by four kopiykas.
