Ukraine's hryvnia strengthens to UAH 26.76 to U.S. dollar on June 19

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 30.06 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for June 19 at UAH 26.76 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by two kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for June 19:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,676.33 (UAH 2,677.6 as of June 18);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,005.79 (UAH 3,006.81 as of June 18).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on June 18, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.73/26.75 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 30.00/30.02.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Thursday, June 18, at UAH 26.78 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by four kopiykas after a one-day rise.
