Ukraine's hryvnia weakens to UAH 26.77 to U.S. dollar on July 2

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 30.00 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 1 set the official forex rate for July 2 at UAH 26.77 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 10 kopiykas after a two-day rise.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 30.00 per euro – the hryvnia lost 13 kopiykas in value since Wednesday.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 2:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,677.00 (UAH 2,666.76 as of July 1);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 2,999.71 (UAH 2,986.77 as of July 1).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on July 1, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.85/26.87 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 30.12/30.14.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Wednesday, July 1, at UAH 26.67 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by two kopiykas.
