Ukraine's hryvnia weakens to UAH 26.78 to U.S. dollar on June 18

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 30.07 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for June 18 at UAH 26.78 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency weaken by four kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for June 18:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,677.6 (UAH 2,674.24 as of June 17);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,006.81 (UAH 3,023.9 as of June 17).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on June 17, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.79/26.81 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 30.10/30.12.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Wednesday, June 17, at UAH 26.74 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 10 kopiykas after a two-day fall.
