Ukraine's hryvnia strengthens to UAH 27.10 to U.S. dollar on April 28

The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 29.42 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for April 28 at UAH 27.10 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by four kopiykas.

The Central Bank fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for April 28:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,710.25 (UAH 2,714.41 as of April 27);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 2,941.84 (UAH 2,933.06 as of April 27).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on April 27, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.07/27.11 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 29.37/29.41.

The U.S. dollar at Kyiv's exchange booths on Monday morning gained five kopiykas in value, as the rate was UAH 27.40 per U.S. dollar. The value of the euro decreased by five kopiykas, and the rate was UAH 29.53 per euro.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate for Monday, April 27, at UAH 27.14 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 13 kopiykas. That is, the hryvnia lost in value after strengthening against U.S. dollar for two consecutive days.
