Ukraine's hryvnia weakens to UAH 27.00 to U.S. dollar on May 28

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 29.72 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on May 27 set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Thursday, May 28, at UAH 27.00 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 10 kopiykas.

The hryvnia has been weakening for the third consecutive day.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 29.72 per euro – the hryvnia has lost 21 kopiykas in value since Wednesday.

By 16:00 Kyiv time on May 27, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.95/26.98 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 29.68/29.71.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate for Wednesday, May 27, at UAH 26.90 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by three kopiykas.
