"Thanks to the Great Construction program initiated by the president, we are upgrading a record number of highways this year, that is over 6,000 kilometers of public roads of state and local importance. However, this is not enough to completely renew Ukraine's entire road network, including in the country's east, which suffered the most from Russia's aggression. This will require more than one annual national budget," the press service quoted Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii as saying.

The ministry says the loan agreement is expected to be signed by the end of this year.
