Egg production increased by 0.4%, to 6.998 billion eggs.
Meat production in Ukraine in January-May 2020 totaled 1.4 million tonnes (in live weight), which was 1% more year-over-year (y-o-y).
In particular, enterprises increased meat production by 3.2%, while households reduced it by 3.3%, Ukraine's State Statistics Service said.

However, milk production in the country in January-May 2020 decreased by 3.6%, to 3.63 million tonnes.
Egg production increased by 0.4%, to 6.998 billion eggs.
Wool production over the period under review decreased by almost 10% year-over-year, to 506 tonnes.
As UNIAN reported, according to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine in 2019 boosted meat production by 4.8%, to 3.47 million tonnes (in live weight), that of eggs by 3.4% to 16.6 billion eggs, while milk output decreased by 3.7%, to 9.68 million tonnes.
