Ukraine, Turkey discuss possibility of joint production of space launch vehicles – Urusky

Ukraine is discussing with Turkey the possibility of jointly creating space launch vehicles.

That's according to Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky, who spoke with RFE/RL.

"These are small orders so far. But we are now looking for serious partners, including talking with the Republic of Turkey, about the possibility of commercializing the rocket industry in terms of jointly creating launch vehicles so that they could be launched from the territory of third countries as the Turkish side is unable to provide a proper launch site," Urusky said.

The vice prime minister noted that Ukraine must find its place in the international distribution in such high-tech industries as aviation, rocket and space.
