Wage arrears across Ukraine in July 2020 increased by 8.1% to the previous month, amounting to UAH 3.4 billion (US$123.7 million) as of August 1, the State Statistics Service reports.

The minimum wage in Ukraine since January 1, 2020, has increased by UAH 550, to UAH 4,723 ($171.84) per month, or UAH 28.31 ($1.02) per hour.
In the 2020 state budget, the monthly subsistence minimum was laid down at as follows: from January 1, 2020, at UAH 2,027, from July 1 at UAH 2,118, and from December 1 at UAH 2,189.
The average nominal wage of a full-time employee in Ukraine in June 2020 increased by 7.4% on year, to UAH 11,579 ($421.29).
From September 1, 2020, the Cabinet plans to increase the minimum wage to UAH 5,000 ($181.92) with a further increase to UAH 6,000 ($218.3) from January 1, 2021, and to UAH 6,500 ($236.5) from July 1, 2021.
