Exports of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery in 2019 shrank by almost 10% from 2018, say experts with the National Scientific Center "Institute of Agrarian Economics".

"Ukraine's export opportunities with regard to the main types of agricultural equipment are traditionally significantly lower than import ones. However, supplies from foreign countries in 2019 declined critically, that is, by 9.4%, to merely US$37.6 million," the Center's press service said on its website on April 21.

It is noted that exports of Ukrainian tractors had declined the most, by 60%, to US$3.3 million against US$7.4 million in 2018.
