The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for Monday, July 27, 2020, at UAH 27.76 per U.S. dollar, thus, the national currency has strengthened for the first time in the past seven days.
It gained 12 kopiykas in value compared to the rate set for Friday, July 24, according to the NBU's website.
The official forex rate against the euro for July 27 is set at UAH 32.22 per euro, which let the hryvnia strengthen by two kopiykas compared to July 24.

Hryvnia quotations against the dollar settled at UAH 27.79/27.81 per dollar and those against the euro at UAH 32.24/32.26 per euro as of 16:00 Kyiv time on Friday, July 24.

Rates before the weekend
The National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the U.S. dollar for Friday, July 24, at UAH 27.88 per dollar, that is, the hryvnia weakened against the dollar for the sixth day in a row as it lost 10 kopiykas in value compared to the previous indicator.
