The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 28.79 per euro.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on May 18 set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Tuesday, May 19, at UAH 26.57 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by seven kopiykas.

Thus, the hryvnia saw gains in value against the U.S. dollar for the fifth consecutive day.
The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 28.79 per euro – the hryvnia has lost two kopiykas in value since Monday.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's national currency had strengthened for the fourth day in a row as the National Bank set the official forex rate for Monday, May 18, at UAH 26.64 per U.S. dollar.
