Electricity consumption in Ukraine drops by 0.9% on April 5-11 – Ukrenergo

Ukraine's national power grid operator, National Power Company (NPC) Ukrenergo, says the country's electricity consumption during the week on April 5-11, 2021, dropped by 0.9%, to 2.86 billion kWh, against the previous week on March 29-April 4.

It also dropped by 2.2% on the weekend, to 387.4 million kWh, the company's press service said on its website on April 12.

Meanwhile, the average daily consumption increased both on weekdays and on the weekend year-on-year (y-o-y), that is by 13.7% and 10.7%, respectively, the report said.

Since the beginning of April, the consumption has totaled 4.46 billion kWh, which exceeded the projected figure by 2.2%.
