One of police patrol officers was diagnosed with a concussion.
A police car fell into the Nyvka river near Kyiv on July 22 following an apparently failed pursuit of an offender who was driving a scooter who eventually managed to escape.
According to eyewitnesses, the scooterist drove along the pedestrian bridge, while the patrol car steered off track and fell into the river, dtp.kiev.ua reported on Facebook.
A rescue team retrieved the damaged vehicle in a short while.
