The official opening ceremony held on Saturday was attended by high-ranking officials from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Interior and Defense Ministries, an UNIAN correspondent reported.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that the exhibition presents evidence of crimes against humanity and proof of Russian aggression against Ukraine. "This military equipment kills Ukrainian citizens", the minister said.

The exhibits were delivered in Kyiv by the Azov special purpose regiment and other military formations.

"This equipment today symbolizes the beginning of the defeat of Putin's intervention. Ukraine cannot be taken by force," Avakov said.

The organizers of the exhibition and visitors held a moment of silence to honor the defenders of Ukraine who were killed in Donbas when protecting the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
