The SBU Security Service of Ukraine along with the prosecutor's office have detained for bribery the chief state inspector of the Kyiv region Main Directorate of the State Labor Service on Wednesday, February 15, the press service of the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office told UNIAN.
As reported, the official demanded a UAH 112,000 bribe from a representative of a private company for licensing eight gas stations in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
The perpetrator was caught "red-handed" immediately after the transfer of funds. The investigation is ongoing.
