Russian NTV reporter for the "Central Television" program Vyacheslav Nemyshev has been detained amid recording a standup downtown Kyiv, Ukraine, according to the Russian NTV channel.
"The correspondent was working amid a standup, cutting a famous Kyiv cake with a table knife. At that moment he was blocked by an identified person who made the local police detain NTV's employee," the channel said.
According to the source, the detainee is now being interrogated by the SBU Security Service of Ukraine.

According to other Russian news outlets, Nemyshev was found in possession of so-called "DPR" [the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic] accreditation, which led the police to invite the Ukrainian Security Service.
