As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 15,511.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the city rose by 235 in the past day.
"In the past day, another 235 residents of Kyiv tested positive for coronavirus, including eight healthcare workers. There were four fatalities," Klitschko wrote on Telegram on September 8. "As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 15,511."

Six girls (from three to 17 years old) and nine boys (from one to 17 years old) have tested positive.
Klitschko said 34 new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest are self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under medical supervision.
Sixty-seven people recovered from the disease in the past day, he said.
In total, 4,826 Kyiv residents have already recovered.
The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Desniansky district (37), Shevchenkivsky district (35), and Dniprovsky district (30).
The total death toll in the city is 246 cases.
