As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 14,792.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the city rose by 315 in the past day.
"In the past day, another 315 residents of Kyiv tested positive for coronavirus, including seven healthcare workers. There were four fatalities," Klitschko wrote on Telegram on September 5. "As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 14,792."
According to Klitschko, 163 women aged 22 to 89 and 132 men aged 19 to 86 are among those infected.

Klitschko said 42 new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest are self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under medical supervision.
Ninety-seven people recovered from the disease in the past day, he said.
In total, 4,713 Kyiv residents have already recovered.
The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Desniansky district (57), Darnytsky district (55), and Obolonsky district (39).
The total death toll in the city is 234 cases.
