As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 18,449.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the city rose by 379 in the past day.
"In the past day, another 379 residents of Kyiv tested positive for coronavirus, including seven healthcare workers. There were five fatalities," Klitschko reported via Telegram on September 17.
"As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 18,449."
According to the city mayor, 208 women aged 18 to 76 and 130 men aged 18 to 83 are among those infected.
Twenty girls (from seven to 16 years old) and 21 boys (from three to 17 years old) have tested positive.
Klitschko said 31 new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest are self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under medical supervision.

In total, 5,601 Kyiv residents have already beaten the disease.
The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Darnytsky district (72), Dniprovsky district (59), and Desniansky district (55).
The total death toll in the city is 296 cases.
