Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the city rose by 400 in the past day.

"As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 19,140."
According to the city mayor, 199 women aged 18 to 83 and 165 men aged 17 to 87 are among those infected.
Thirteen girls (from two months to 16 years old) and 23 boys (from one month to 17 years old) have tested positive.
Klitschko said 67 new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest are self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under medical supervision.
He added that 86 people had recovered in the past day.
In total, 5,828 Kyiv residents have already beaten the disease.
The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Desniansky district (82), Obolonsky district (57), and Darnytsky district (50).
The total death toll in the city is 312 cases.
