Ukraine will introduce a full system of medical insurance, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said on Tuesday at the beginning of a meeting of the government, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"We declare that Ukraine will introduce a health insurance, a full health insurance [system]," he said.
Plans to reform Ukraine’s creaking and chronically underfunded public health system have been mooted several times since the country gained independence more than two decades ago, but nothing has ever come of them.
