Chairman of the Popular Front party Oleksandr Turchynov has said he is "ready to serve his country" as the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Turchynov said this to journalists in the lobby of parliament on Friday.
However, when asked whether he has received an offer of the post, Turchynov answered only that he "has received many offers."
Previously, it was reported that Turchynov was in the running for the post of NSDC secretary.
