Pushilin: Talks in Minsk were ‘preparatory’

One of the leaders of self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, who participated in negotiations of the tripartite contact group in Minsk on Wednesday, has said that it was a "preparatory meeting,” Russian news agency RIA Novosti has reported.

"It was a difficult preparatory meeting, it would not be quite appropriate in relation to the parties to disclose the items and the results until the next meeting is held,” Pushilin said

“The date and time of the next meeting has not been determined, and is subject to further discussions.”

The trilateral meeting of the contact group of senior representatives of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and the OSCE on the peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbas was held in Minsk, and lasted about five and a half hours. The participants left the meeting without speaking to the press.
