Georgian citizen Gia Getsadze has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Justice, Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
"My friend Gia Getsadze has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine ..." Saakashvili wrote.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Getsadze graduated from the Faculty of international law at Tbilisi State University in 1995.
During the presidency of Saakashvili, Getsadze held senior posts - in particular, he was first deputy minister of justice of Georgia.
As reported earlier, in December 2014 Aleksandr Kvitashvili was appointed Ukraine’s health minister, and Eka Zguladze was appointed first deputy interior minister.
