The militants of the Luhansk People's Republic organization have announced the creation of their own air force, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
"The armed groups of the so-called LPR have announced the creation of their own air forces, consisting of two planes – Su-25 jet aircraft and L-29 jet trainer aircraft," Lysenko said.
"This fact indicates the beginning of an information campaign to cover the possible use of Russian military aircraft against Ukrainian forces," he said.
