A court hearing will be held in Moscow on March 4 to consider whether jailed Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko has diplomatic immunity as a member of Ukraine’s delegation to PACE.
Due to health issues caused by Savchenko’s long lasting hunger strike, her previous appearances have been made via Skype, but this time, she is due to be brought to the court in person, Ukraine Today reports.
Savchenko was illegally taken to Russia after being abducted by Russian-backed militants in the Donbas last summer. Eventually, she was charged with being involved in the deaths of Russian journalists.
