Zelensky to meet with IMF envoys next week

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to meet with representatives of a new mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukraine's key lender, next week, as planned.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a meeting with the mission of the International Monetary Fund in Kyiv. The meeting will take place next week, as planned. Currently, the IMF representatives hold meetings with government officials," the presidential press service said in a statement on May 22.

Thus, the press service has refuted the information that the IMF mission allegedly stopped working in Ukraine.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on May 22, a number of media reported the early termination of the IMF mission, which arrived in Kyiv on May 21. However, the IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine denied this information, stating that the mission is working according to the previously set up two-week schedule.
