The State Service for Emergency Situations faces a process of total lustration, Acting Chairman of the State Service for Emergency Situations Zorian Shkiriak said on Friday at the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the participation of Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
According to Shkiriak, on March 26 he signed more than 300 dismissal orders.
Shkiriak also said that he instructed Acting Chairmen of regional administrations of the State Service for Emergency Situations to provide information on procurement and tenders in 2014-2015.
"Today I have instructed all Acting Chairmen of regional administrations to promptly provide information on procurement and tenders in 2014-2015," he said.
According to Shkiriak, in the near future the State Service for Emergency Situations will hold online tender for the purchase of firefighting equipment.
"Those UAH 200 million, which some people wanted to share [between themselves], will be directed to the purchase of domestic high-quality firefighting equipment," he said.
