Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov do not receive a pension in Ukraine, Head of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Oleksiy Zarudniy said on Ukrainian television’s Podrobnosti program on Sunday.
"Former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov does not receive a pension in Ukraine. As of today, he has no pension, and neither do other officials who are absent from Ukraine. It’s the same with [former President] Viktor Yanukovych," he said.
It was earlier reported in the Ukrainian media that the Pension Fund of Ukraine was still paying a pension of nearly UAH 600,000 to former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
