Hopes for peace in the Donbas are very faint, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said on Thursday during a meeting of the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"It's hard to say what European country had and has the kind of historical challenges that Ukraine has today," he said.
"Russia does not comply with the Minsk agreements, and you can see it on TV and in the media. Unfortunately, our hopes for peace are very faint," he said.
"And in order to have peace, you should always have strong armed forces," Yatseniuk said.
