Crimea cannot be a bargaining chip, Kuleba says.
Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has said Ukraine will never accept the occupation of Crimea by Russia.
"At every meeting with our colleagues from the European Union and NATO I've ever had since my appointment, I reiterated a very simple and clear phrase: Ukraine will never recognize Crimea as Russian," he told journalists on September 26.

"In general, this cannot be the subject of any talks and compromises. We will be raising the issue and working with our partners so that Crimea remains on the international agenda, without being overshadowed. Crimea can't be a bargaining chip there: 'Let's handle the situation in Donbas, but agree over Crimea.' No! No! Once again, No!" the official said.
"Not a square meter of land or sea will be surrendered to the aggressor. This is a principled position," Kuleba added.
