Illegally jailed Ukrainian fighter pilot Nadiya Savchenko will be transferred to a Moscow hospital from her cell on Tuesday due to the worsening of her health following yet another hunger strike, according to her lawyer Mark Feygin.
Savchenko has been in custody in Russia since last summer, charged for complicity in the killing of two Russian journalists in the conflict area in eastern Ukraine, Ukraine Today reports.
The Ukrainian female pilot denies all charges, saying that she was wrongfully transported from Ukrainian territory to Russia after having being captured by pro-Russian militants in the Donbas.
