The experts who are working at a burning oil depot near Kyiv a proposing to bring the fire under control and let it burn itself out, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
"Vasylkiv: The experts insist on the safest option - to localize the fire and let it burn. We do not want to pay the lives of firefighters to speed up the fire’s suppression," he said.
As reported earlier, Avakov said that four tanks with petroleum products had already completely burned out at the oil depot in Vasylkivskiy district of Kyiv region.
