The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday supported at second reading and in general a presidential bill on the institutional capacity of the National Bank of Ukraine under the conditions of the IMF program, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
According to the report, the presidential bill, No. 2742 "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine on building institutional capacity of the National Bank of Ukraine" that is necessary for obtaining the second tranche under the program with the International Monetary Fund was supported by 232 MPs registered in the Ukrainian parliament’s session hall.
During consideration of the bill, the MPs considered more than 140 amendments, some of which have been approved, while others were rejected by MPs.
