The agreement on a free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union, which is a part of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, will definitely enter into force on January 1, 2016, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said when speaking at the collegium of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine on Tuesday.
"The agreement on a free trade zone with the EU comes into force, and neither Russia, nor anyone else will stop this process,” Yatseniuk said.
“This is our agreement with the European Union, and it is for us to decide the content and the form by which the agreement will come into effect and be implemented from January 1, 2016.”
