Ukraine Today reviews an article by Paul Goble, an expert on ethnic matters and religion in Eurasia, for the Eurasia Review ezine, who argues that the West’s position regarding Russia has shifted and hardened significantly compared to 2014.
Goble cited former Putin’s advisor Andrey Illarionov saying that this shift is marked by NATO’s actions, and what’s more important, changes in the opinions in the opinion of the political elites of the West, according to Ukraine Today.
