Top U.S. Republican Senator John McCain slams Obama administration during his official visit to Odesa on September 23 saying it is a shame on America's honour that defensive weapons have not been provided by the United States already, according to Ukraine Today.
McCain is known as prominent supporter of providing lethal aid to Ukraine, which has been fighting Russia’s regular troops and Kremlin-led militants in Donbas, Ukraine Today reports.
Western countries have so far declined Ukraine’s requests to supply weapons, while offering non-lethal military aid and training.
