Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde, according to the president's official website.
Christine Lagarde congratulated the President on successful holding of local elections on October 25.
The President thanked the IMF for constantly supporting Ukraine.
"The parties discussed the progress of reforms in Ukraine, particularly tax reform and struggle against corruption. They also coordinated efforts on the fulfillment of conditions of the IMF program," the report says.
