Brussels to host Ukraine-NATO interparliamentary council meeting

A Ukraine-NATO interparliamentary council meeting will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on November 23-24, according to the Mission of Ukraine to NATO.

The Ukrainian delegation consists of Members of Parliament Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze and Iryna Gerashchenko, both from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, as well as Yuriy Bereza from the People's Front Party, Oleksiy Skrypnyk from the Samopomich Party, and Andriy Kozhemiakin from the Batkivschya Party, the Mission said.

The agenda of the meeting includes such issues as escalation in Donbas and the challenges NATO member and partner states face amid Russia's hybrid warfare. The sides will also discuss further political and practical support of Ukraine by NATO in countering Russian aggression.

Particular attention will be paid to measures to improve annual national programs for cooperation between Ukraine and NATO.

On November 24, the Ukrainian parliamentary delegates are scheduled to attend a conference titled "Ukraine's Future: Internal and International Cohesion," organized by the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) and the Centre for Security, Development and the Rule of Law (DCAF).
