The main forces of the Russian-backed militants left the village of Kominternove on December 24, presidential administration spokesman for the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Colonel Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing on Friday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Yesterday, the main forces of the militants left Kominternove. The military equipment of the enemy had also been withdrawn from the village," he said.
According to Lysenko, this happened after another visit and the demands of the OSCE mission, and due to the efforts of the Ukrainian diplomacy.

Lysenko said that the situation, as it was before, was "completely under control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces."
